The ceiling, the central pillar, the cornice and the pedestal are where a carousel stops looking bought and starts looking built. Layered cornice and carved panels cost more than a plain canopy.
Figures and paint
Horses, carriages and themed figures are moulded and painted in our own plant, so the set is planned with the ride instead of ordered later from another supplier.
Fence and site work
The safety fence, the base and the power supply are quoted with the project, so nothing is discovered on the day the container arrives.
If the budget is tight, decoration is where buyers save first and the figure set is the last thing to touch. A clean carousel still photographs beautifully at night; an over-decorated one that arrives after your opening date does not.

The 26-seat platform is the one that fits an existing attraction: a lower power supply, one container, and enough capacity for couples and family groups without rebuilding the site. The 36-seat ride is the one to order when the carousel is the reason people come, because 36 riders a cycle changes what the ride does at peak – and it asks for a 13 m fenced circle, two containers and a taller site.

A parent who can ride beside a child buys two tickets instead of one and comes back on the next visit. A couple returns in the evening, when the lights are on and the photographs look better than they did at noon. There is an operational side to it as well. A carousel draws only a few kilowatts, so it can stay open while a larger ride is down for maintenance, and it gives visitors something to do instead of leaving.
