Iraq ride package: what the resort ordered

  • Client: Hussein Holy Shrine
  • Order value: USD 222,000
  • Scope: equipment supply with layout, capacity and documentation support

Location: Iraq. The project was delivered by DINIS as an equipment supply with layout, capacity and documentation support.

Two headline rides, one delivery

  • A mixed package has to be sequenced so the park can open in phases instead of waiting for every item.
  • Civil works, power supply and ride foundations are separate contracts and had to be coordinated with the equipment list.
  • Several ride types mean several maintenance routines, so documentation and spare parts had to be organised together.

What DINIS delivered to the resort park

  • Pendulum ride
  • Aerial shooting ride
  • Documentation and spare parts list

Equipment list: the rides in the package

This was a complete park package rather than a single ride order: eleven attractions covering transport, family rides and thrill rides, delivered together so the resort park could open as one destination.

  • Medium sightseeing train – carries guests around the park and links the ride areas.
  • Pirate ship – the family thrill ride that anchors the centre of the park.
  • Space ride (Shenzhou) – a rotating family attraction with a wide age appeal.
  • Aerial shooting ride – an interactive ride where passengers aim and score, which drives repeat rides.
  • Pendulum – the high-thrill centrepiece for teenagers and young adults.
  • Drifting cars – a second driving-style attraction for the younger age group.
  • Flying turntable – a rotating and lifting platform ride with strong visual presence.
  • Trampoline and inflatables – the low-maintenance attractions that keep children occupied between rides.
  • Self-control planes – family ride with rider-controlled height, popular with parents and children together.

How the Iraq delivery was run

  1. Requirement confirmation – Country, site, visitor profile and equipment list were fixed in writing.
  2. Layout and configuration – Ride positions, capacity and the technical configuration were agreed before production.
  3. Production and pre-assembly – Fabrication with inspection records, then a factory test run.
  4. Packing and shipment – Packing list, container plan and shipping documents followed the agreed schedule.
  5. Delivery and installation support – Site guidance, installation support and handover documentation.

What changed after delivery

The resort can offer a full visit cycle – several ride types plus food and accommodation – instead of a short stop for one attraction.

What a resort should check before two thrill rides

Decide the ride mix from the visitor profile and the operating routine, not from a single product price. The equipment list, the site conditions and the maintenance capacity have to match before the order is placed.

Questions buyers ask about resort thrill rides

Can the equipment be adapted to our site?
Layout, capacity and appearance are agreed per project. Site drawings and the target visitor profile are what the configuration is built from.

Who handles foundations and power supply?
Civil works, foundations and the power supply to the ride are normally separate scopes. The equipment package includes the drawings and specifications the site contractor needs.

What documentation comes with the equipment?
Operation and maintenance documentation, inspection records and the packing list are handed over with the delivery; installation support can be arranged separately.
