Every vertical ride project runs into the same first question: what drop tower height will your site support? The answer is not only about thrills. Height drives freight, foundation, inspection and insurance.
DINIS builds four heights. Here is what each one actually reaches, and what changes as you go taller.

Drop tower height: what each model reaches
| Model | Structure height | Operating height | What changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 m rotating tower | 16.9 m | 12.5 m | Fits malls and indoor sites |
| 25 m rotating tower | 25 m | 19.5 m | The tallest ride in many family parks |
| 35 m rotating tower | 32.4 m | 28.5 m | A skyline ride with 3 containers of freight |
| 63 m free fall | 63 m | 63 m | A landmark project with its own power supply |
Structure height and operating height are different numbers, and both matter. Operating height is where riders actually go; structure height is what your planning office measures.
How height approval usually works
Local rules differ, but every authority asks the same three questions: how tall is the structure, how far is it from the boundary, and what happens in high wind?
Ask for the site’s maximum permitted height before you compare models. If the limit is 30 m, the 35 m tower is out and the 25 m tower becomes the obvious answer.
What changes as the tower gets taller
Freight
Two containers for the 15 m tower, one for the 25 m, three for the 35 m. Freight and site handling grow faster than the height figures suggest.
Foundation and crane
Weight rises from about 11.5 t to more than 22 t across the tower range, and the crane class has to match. The concrete base is designed from the loads we issue with the drawings.
Inspection
Taller rides attract more attention. Full documentation, drawings and inspection records come with every DINIS ride, and the sooner your inspector sees them, the smoother the opening.
Do you need the tallest tower?
Not always. The 25 m tower carries the same 16 riders as the 35 m model, ships in one container and needs 70 kW instead of 90 kW. Height above that buys presence, not capacity.
If presence is the point, the 35 m tower is the answer. If you are a mall, an indoor centre or a smaller plot, the 15 m tower does the job on 8 x 8 m.
Questions buyers ask about tower height
Can we extend a tower later?
Towers are built in transportable sections, so moving one is possible. Extending the height of an existing model is not, because the structure and drive are designed for their size.
Does a taller tower need more land?
Not much more. The 35 m tower sits on 11 x 8 m, and the cabin rotates inside a small circle.
How high is the tallest ride you build?
The 63 m free fall is the tallest vertical ride in the range. Larger heights are possible on request.
