Buying notes for the Portable Carousel for Sale
A carousel that has to earn at more than one site has to move. That is the whole point of this model: the platform folds, the wheels stay on the frame, and one trailer takes it from a fair to a mall event to the next booking.
In operation it is a full 16-seat carousel — same figures, same lighting, same 4 rounds per minute. What changes is the frame: it is built to come apart and go back together on a flat floor, without a workshop or a crane. That is what separates it from the fixed carousel range, which is built to stay on one site.

What makes this one portable
Two kinds of folding carousel are built in the trade. The first folds flat and then still has to be lifted onto a truck. The second keeps its wheels, so the folded ride rolls onto the trailer and off again at the next pitch. This model is the second kind.
The canopy, the figures and the platform fold with the frame. Nothing is dismantled down to loose parts that have to be reassembled from a drawing on site, and the folded machine travels on a standard trailer rather than a low-loader.

See it fold and move
Fifty seconds at a fair: the ride running, then the platform folding down onto its wheels ready for the road. Nothing is dismantled to loose parts.
Fold it, move it, run it
Three sets of numbers decide whether a traveling carousel works for you: what it measures while it runs, what it measures on the road, and what power it needs when it arrives.
The single-phase supply is the part operators notice first. The ride does not need a 380 V connection, so a mall hall, a hotel forecourt, a resort courtyard or a fairground pitch with domestic power can still run it.
Where it earns
A different town every week
The folding frame and the wheels are built for operators who move between fairs. One trailer carries the ride, and the lighting package keeps it working after dark. Where the pitch is fixed instead, the fairground carousel is the usual choice.
Short lets, quick build
Malls book rides for a season, not a decade. A machine that folds travels into the atrium and comes out again when the campaign ends. If the atrium becomes a permanent home, the indoor carousel is the model that stays.
Christmas, Eid and Tet pitches
Theme the figures and the canopy for the season, run the pitch, then move the same ride to the next holiday site. Operators who keep one seasonal pitch often buy the carnival carousel instead.
Where 380 V is not available
Parks and resorts on a single-phase supply can operate this model without a transformer or a new electrical connection. Where the ride stays put, buyers usually start from the family carousel range.
Figures, lighting and finish
The folding frame takes the same figure sets as our fixed carousels: horses, carriages and themed figures, moulded in fibreglass (FRP) and painted in the DINIS factory in Henan. The three-kilowatt lighting package is part of the build rather than an accessory added later, which matters when the ride has to look right on a pitch at night.
Tell us the theme and the colours you want, and we will put the figure options against the pitch or the hall the ride is going into. If you are still comparing platforms and drives, start from how to choose a carousel.

Planning the pitch
A folding carousel only saves you time if the site is ready when it arrives. Four things to settle before the first event:
- Level hardstanding for a 7.7 m footprint, with room to unfold the platform on one side
- A 220 V supply within reach of the control panel — 7 kW in total, so check the circuit the site can give you
- A trailer rated for the folded machine at 2.65 m wide and 3.9 m high
- A crew briefed for assembly and dismantling, with our video and manual to hand
Questions buyers ask
How does it travel?
Folded, the ride measures 2.65 m wide and 3.9 m high with its wheels on the frame, so a standard trailer carries it without a low-loader.
What power does it need?
220 V single phase. The drive draws 4 kW and the lighting 3 kW, so 7 kW in total.
How much space does it take in use?
The operating footprint is 7.7 m and the equipment stands 4.2 m high. Plan the queue, the fence and the boarding around that footprint.
How many riders per cycle?
16 riders at 4 rounds per minute, which keeps a queue moving through a busy evening.
Can the figures and colours be changed?
Yes. Figures, canopy colours and lighting are chosen with the order, and the figures are produced in our own plant.
When is a fixed carousel the better buy?
When the ride stays on one site all season. A fixed platform costs less for the same seat count, and the larger sizes only exist as fixed builds: see the 36 seat and above platforms and the double decker models.
What about spare parts on the road?
Ask for the recommended spares list with the quotation. Most electrical parts overlap with common motors and generators, so a local workshop can usually help between events.

Send us the venues you have in mind and how often you expect to move the ride. We will check the folded size against your trailer and the power against the sites, then come back with the configuration, the drawing and the production date.
