Buying notes for the Flying Turntable
Every park has a stretch of walkway where visitors slow down and reach for a phone. A flying turntable ride is built for that spot. It lifts 24 riders, tilts the platform and turns them at 12 rpm, so the movement reads from the far end of the path.
The DINIS flying turntable needs a 12 x 15 m footprint and travels in a single 40HQ container. Those two numbers are why operators place it in the middle of a park rather than at the edge.

What a flying turntable ride adds to a park
You are not buying rotation. You are buying a reason for visitors to keep walking.
Put the anchor ride in the middle of the site and the crowd spreads out. Families walk past two or three other attractions to reach it, and those attractions get their turn while people wait.
A visible ride sells itself from a distance
The platform lifts and tilts while it turns, so the motion is unmistakable from 100 m away. After dark the lighting package does the same job.
It sits on a low structure, so the civil work stays short
The equipment stands 8 m tall and the operating height is 6.5 m. There is no tower column to anchor, which keeps the schedule between your deposit and opening day short.
Flying turntable capacity: what 24 seats means across a day
At 12 rpm the rotation itself is quick. Loading is what decides your throughput.
A planned cycle of 2.5 to 3 minutes, with two staff on the gate and a clear exit path, puts most parks in the region of 300 to 400 riders an hour. Send us the peak-hour figure you are working to and we will confirm the cycle for your layout before you commit.
School groups and weekend crowds arrive in batches. A 24-seat platform clears a group in one or two turns, which keeps the queue moving and the walkway clear.
Flying turntable site requirements: 12 x 15 m and 85 kW
Treat the 12 x 15 m footprint as untouchable, then route the queue around it so waiting visitors never block the walkway. The slewing diameter is 12 m, which is the circle you should keep clear of fencing and signage.
The drive is 85 kW on a standard 380 V three-phase supply. Confirm the cable route and the position of the control cabinet before the container is booked, because moving either of them later costs more than planning them now.
Delivery day is short but it needs room: one 40HQ container arrives and a crane lifts the platform and the structure into position. Keep the access road clear on that day.
If the ride is part of a wider build, our park design team can lay out the zone, the walkways and the queue so the ride, the food and drink units and the entrance all work together.
Theming a flying turntable ride for your market

A flying turntable is one of the easier rides to theme, because the platform and the seat backs are large, flat surfaces.
Lighting is the change buyers ask for first. An LED package turns the ride into an evening attraction and extends the operating day without adding staff.
Platform graphics, seat styling and a canopy trim carry a character theme or a park colour scheme. If your site already runs a theme, the LT DUCK and Crazy Rabbit collections show how the same hardware is dressed for two very different audiences.
The decorative shell is glass-reinforced plastic over a steel frame, the same fibre-reinforced plastic used across the range, which is why colour and finish can be matched to your own artwork.
Flying turntable price and what moves it
The indicative factory price starts at US$166,000 for the standard configuration. Most buyers then add one or two items that change the total, so it helps to see which side of the quotation each one sits on.
What the quotation covers
The ride, standard seats and restraints, the 85 kW drive, the standard lighting package, a factory test run and the documentation set for your local authority. Installation guidance is included.
What changes the final number
Freight, foundation work, the local power connection and installation labour are quoted for your own site. Theming, an LED show package and a spare-parts kit are priced from your artwork and your list.
Questions buyers ask about the flying turntable
How many riders per hour can we plan for?
Plan for 300 to 400 with a 2.5 to 3 minute cycle and two staff on the gate. Send us your own peak-hour figure and we will check the cycle against your layout.
What power supply does it need?
An 85 kW drive on a standard 380 V three-phase supply. Tell us the voltage and frequency available on site and we will match the control cabinet to it.
How much does freight add?
The ride travels in one 40HQ container, so freight is a single booking. Send us the destination port and the delivery address and we will quote it door to door.
What is the lead time?
About 35 days in production, then sea freight and site installation. Check the schedule against your opening date early, because the finishing queue is longest before the holiday season.
Can it run after dark?
Yes. The standard lighting package is built for evening operation, and the ride takes an LED show package easily if you want it to be the night-time focus of the park.
What does the after-sales package include?
One year free of charge plus lifetime maintenance support. Ask for the recommended spare-parts list with the quotation so your own workshop can plan ahead.
Technical reference: operating height 6.5 m / equipment height 8 m / 24 riders / rotation 12 rpm / slewing diameter 12 m / footprint 12 x 15 m / 85 kW drive / design life 15 years / 1 x 40HQ.
