What changes the price of a roller coaster
Track length and height
Track is quoted by the metre and by the section. Le 180 m mouse uses 180 m of track at 7 m de haut; the family coaster runs 266 m at 9.3 m, which needs more steel, more supports and a longer lift.
Number of cars or trains
The mouse coasters run four or five spinning cars. The family coaster carries 16 passengers in one train of four rows. More vehicles mean more wheels, more braking and more spares.
Puissance et contrôle
Le 180 m mouse is rated 10.5 kW with a 7.5 kW entraînement, so a normal park supply runs it. Les montagnes russes familiales ont besoin 50 kW on 3N AC 380 V, which is a different electrical conversation.
Site works
Steel base, concrete, drainage and fencing are local costs. On a flat, dry plot they are modest; on a slope or over services, they can surprise you.
