New parks buy differently from operating ones. The ride has to fit a plot that is already marked out and a power supply that is already specified, and it has to open with the rest of the site.
A family tower ride for a park that is still being built
UN tour de samba sits between a carousel and a drop tower. The cabins lift, rotate and swing, but the motion stays gentle enough for children to ride with their parents.
For a first season, that matters more than height. It gives the park a ride that photographs well on opening day without needing the civil works of a tower.
Samba tower capacity: eight cabins, thirty-two riders
Each cabin takes two adults and two children, or four children, so a family buys four seats at once. The cycle runs two to three minutes and is adjustable, which lets the operator shorten it on a busy afternoon.
Installed power is 20 kW: 3 kW for rotation, 15 kW for the hydraulic pump and 2 kW for lighting. The structure stands 12 m with a slewing diameter of about 8.3 m.
Delivering a samba tower in one container
The ride ships in a single 40HQ at about 4,600 kg, so the site needed one unloading crane and one delivery slot. Production runs about 35 days from the confirmed order.
Because the park was still building, the tower could go in while the surrounding works continued. That is the practical advantage of a one-container family ride on an unfinished site.
