36-Person Rail Train

A sightseeing train does two jobs at once. It carries visitors across a large site, and it sells a ticket while doing it.

The 36-person model from DINIS is the version most parks start with: one locomotive, three carriages, twelve riders each, and a route you shape around your own site.

A train that pays for the walk it replaces

If your park is 400 m from the gate to the far end, your visitors already pay for that walk in fatigue. A ticketed train turns the same distance into revenue and keeps visitors on site longer.

It also solves the group problem. School trips, tour groups and older visitors can reach every corner without complaints.

Track is quoted by the metre: how to size the route

The train itself is a fixed cost, but the track is not. It is quoted per metre, with sleepers and the gauge confirmed at quotation stage.

That means your route length, not the train, decides your budget. Walk the site, mark the stops and the depot, and send us the line. We will quote the track to match.

What your route has to respect

Turning radius

Allow at least 10 m for the curves. Tight curves are the most common reason a planned route has to be redrawn.

Carriage size

The locomotive measures 3.4 x 1.35 x 2.2 m and each carriage 2.5 x 1.35 x 2.2 m. Check the depot and the maintenance access against those dimensions.

Stops and platform

Decide where riders get on and off. A train with two or three stops carries more people per hour than one with a single station.

Capacity and staffing

Thirty-six passengers per trip, twelve to a carriage, with forward-facing seats. One driver is enough, plus a platform attendant at busy stops.

Dual 5.5 kW drive with a battery pack keeps the running cost low compared with a diesel vehicle.

Buyer questions about the 36-person track train

Can the carriages be themed?

Yes. Body shape, colours and decoration are usually chosen to match the park, and several themed versions are already in the range.

How long does the route take to build?

Track laying is local work. Tell us your route length and site conditions and we will confirm the track package and the delivery schedule.

What happens if we want more capacity later?

Extra carriages can be added, and the drive is sized with that in mind. Plan the depot for the longer train from the start.
