HOW TO SPECIFY IT

Specify the 120-Person Heavy Rail Train for Large Parks like a buyer, not a catalogue

Three short notes. Open the one you need — no sales talk.

How to read the numbers before you ask for a price
01Footprint & dimensions

This model: 5.8 x 2.0 x 2.6 m. Compare that with your site, plus the safety envelope, the queue and maintenance access.

02Capacity & throughput

This model: 120 passengers, three cars of 40. Match the hourly throughput to your peak window, not your daily average.

03Power & utilities

This model: 100 kW diesel generating set. Your transformer, cabling and control room have to match it. Anything missing becomes extra civil or electrical work.

04Weight & installation

Total weight and base requirements decide the foundation, the lifting plan and the installation schedule.

Which tier fits your project
START STANDARD

The standard model

It already covers the footprint, capacity and appearance that most parks, malls and fairs can operate.

MOVE UP

Higher capacity or scale

Choose a larger model when your peak window, your landmark position or your ticket price needs more throughput.

GO CUSTOM

Themed or custom build

When theme, capacity or site conditions fall outside the standard range, the appearance and configuration are engineered for your project.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Buying notes for the 120-Person Heavy Rail Train for Large Parks

The 120-passenger heavy rail train is the largest rail build we quote from a fixed drawing set: one locomotive, a water carriage and three passenger cars of forty, on 762 mm rail. It suits large parks and scenic areas where a single departure has to move a whole queue.

At this capacity the route leads the design. A 762 mm line, a 30 m turning radius and a 1.5% gradient are the conditions the site has to offer, and the locomotive runs on a 100 kW generating set rather than a battery pack.

Larger capacities are also built to order. The rail sightseeing train range lists every platform from 21 passengers upward, and the 54-passenger train is the build most shorter routes start from.

What the route has to offer

A 120-passenger train is a fixed installation, so the line is designed with the train rather than after it. These four conditions decide whether the site is ready for this build.

Curves30 m minimum turning radius on 762 mm gauge. The curve radius is the first number we check on your drawing
GradientUp to 1.5%, which is tighter than the lighter rail trains because of the train weight. Steeper ground belongs to a trackless road train
StationsA platform has to take the whole train in one stop. Three cars of forty means a long boarding edge and two or three boarding points
Depot and fuelThe locomotive runs on a 100 kW diesel set, so the depot carries fuel storage, service access and a maintenance bay beside the line

Where a 120-person rail train works

The capacity only pays where a single departure can be filled twice an hour.

LARGE PARKS

One train, one long loop

A 3 to 5 km loop with two or three stations moves visitors all day on one locomotive and one crew.

SCENIC AREAS

Carrying visitors up a valley

Where the walking route is long and the view is the product, the line becomes part of the experience.

ZOOS AND WILDLIFE PARKS

Between distant zones

Distant enclosures are connected without adding a road inside the park.

RESORTS

Arrival and internal transport

The train links the car park, reception and the activity zone, which keeps cars out of the guest area.

Questions buyers ask

01

Is 120 passengers the largest rail train?

It is the largest build with a fixed drawing set. Larger rail trains are quoted to order, up to 200 passengers.

02

What track does it need?

762 mm gauge on 22 kg rail, which is heavier than the 12 kg rail used on the 406 and 600 mm lines. Track is quoted per metre from the route drawing.

03

Can it run on batteries?

This build runs on a 100 kW diesel generating set. The 21 to 96-passenger trains are the battery platforms.

04

How many stations does it need?

Two or three on a loop is typical: one where visitors arrive, one at the far end, and one where the queue builds.

05

How many staff does it take?

One driver and one platform attendant per station, which is why the train suits a park that cannot staff a road train fleet.

06

How do we start?

Send the site plan, the route you have in mind and the visitors you expect per hour. We will come back with the line, the train length and the price band.

Next step

Send the site plan with the route and the stations marked, the gradient if you know it, and the visitors you expect per hour. We will confirm whether the heavy build suits the line, or whether a shorter train on lighter rail serves it better. The train range lists the trackless platforms as well.
